Anxiety & Depression

“Healing may not be so much about getting better, as about letting go of everything that isn’t you – all of the expectations, all of the beliefs – and becoming who you are.”

-Rachel Naomi Remen-

The experiences of depression and anxiety can be all-consuming. Your headspace may feel cluttered, weighed down, or frantic. Your body may be buzzing with worry, heavy with sadness, or simply overwhelmed and full of tension. It can be difficult to know how to feel better or where to even start.

You do not have to move through this alone. Therapy can provide a space for you to name painful emotional experiences, such as depression, anxiety, panic, overwhelm, and despair. We can collaborate to pursue and access relief. It is possible to feel more grounded and connected to yourself, your relationships, and the world around you.

Therapy for depression and/or anxiety may be helpful for those experiencing:

Feelings of sadness, overwhelm, and worry

Feeling of guilt, shame, and worthlessness

Irritability, frustration, and restlessness

Somatic symptoms, such as headaches or stomach problems

Disrupted sleep patterns

Challenges with concentration

Difficulty coping
