Relationship Challenges
“The quality of your life ultimately depends on the quality of your relationships.”
-Esther Perel-
We are meant for connection and relationship. Our bonds and attachment to others can bring us deep joy and the opportunity to be fully seen. As we all know, relationships can also be the source of grief, pain, and deep feelings of disconnection.
While I do not offer couples counseling, exploring your individual relationships (romantic, platonic, familial, parental, etc.) in a one-on-one setting can be a supportive and insightful experience. We may explore patterns of relating to yourself and others; identify relational norms in your family or community of origin; build supportive strategies to increase interpersonal effectiveness; and process and create healthy attachment.
Therapy with a focus on relationships may be helpful for those hoping to:
Improve healthy communication strategies
Identify and implement boundaries
Work through challenging relational patterns
Build deeper more intimate connections
Strengthen self-awareness
Navigate healthy conflict resolution
